Heat Reflectors are easy to install, great for protecting fireboxes from heat damage and getting additional heat out of any open fireplace (20% to 30% or more depending on your fireplace). Fireplaces with gas logs really benefit from the installation of a Heat Reflector/Shield! Five different sizes to choose from. Choice of “Wheat” etched pattern, plain stainless, or black. Vacu-stack cures most wind related down draft problems. It’s design actually increases draft as the wind speed increases. Vacu-stack is made for single wall, double wall, triple wall, and can adapt to masonry chimneys with the masonry adapter available. Also available is screens for Vacu-stack caps that just clip on to keep birds out.

Huge heat loss occurs when a chimney damper doesn’t seal properly or is missing or broken. A new top-sealing damper will normally pay for itself the first year from the savings on the heating bill. These top sealing butterfly dampers are great for those chimneys that don’t have a raised flue liner, under Multi-Flue chimney caps, or as low profile stand– alone damper. Constructed of 304 stainless steel, spring loaded. It’s simple to use and easy to install (just silicone it on). Each damper comes with 32’ of stainless steal cable guard for the offset of the flue, 10oz. Tube of silicone, firebox bracket pack.

Animal Guards have no lid or top like a chimney cap. They do how ever keep out animals and act as a spark arrestor, protecting against sparks landing on your roof. They have 4” screen heights so they easily slip under existing masonry chimney caps which are sometimes called blue stone caps.

With out a rain cap your chimney is exposed to rain, leaves, debris, animals, and nests which can cause blockages, damage, or corrosion. Some rain caps also come with a spark arrester which will protects against sparks landing on your roof. Another option is a draft inducing rain cap which will give you a better draft year-round allowing your gas or wood appliance to burn more efficiently. Chimney caps are available for round, square, and rectangular for masonry chimneys, clay flue liners, round factory built chimneys, and chimney liners. You can have the rain cap installed or order and install it your self (for ordering a rain cap for a factory built chimney you will need to know the brand name of the chimney and the inside diameter or at least the inside and outside diameter of the chimney pipe.)

Combustion Air Kits

The main reason open fire places don’t produce much heat is because they use the warm air in the living space to feed the fire and then send it out the chimney. They have no other air source. When you install a Combustion Air Kit, cool air is taken from outside the living space to feed the fire and heat the living space.

A smart way to save on heating bills. Install this declaimer in the flue (vent pipe) of any air-tight stove or free standing fireplace. Exhaust heat and gasses travel upward through the flue, circulating around the heat exchanger tubes.
